Terms of Service & Commercial Engagement
These terms govern all engineering consultations, software development contracts, SaaS subscriptions, and procurement transactions entered into with Softzqua Labs (Registered under BN-WLSPVLJL, Kenya).
1. Scope of Services
All client engagements are scoped under one or more of our five registered business pillars: Custom Software Development, SaaS & Digital Platforms, AI & ML Systems, Webmaster & IT Support, and Hardware & Software Supply. Specific service deliverables and service level agreements (SLAs) are defined in executed Statements of Work (SOW).
2. Intellectual Property & Licensing
Custom software code developed under bespoke development contracts transfers to the client upon full payment, subject to license terms agreed upon in writing. Third-party software licenses procured through Softzqua Labs remain subject to their respective original software vendor licenses.
3. Confidentiality & Data Security
Softzqua Labs complies with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and international best practices for data processing and confidentiality. Client source code, data repositories, and proprietary specifications are handled with strict non-disclosure safeguards.
